Yesterday we visited a friend of mine who lives on a farm. As we were leaving she asked us if we needed any pumpkins. Needless to say we left with a huge white ghost pumpkin that Emma can not wait to carve, a large pumpkin great for making pies and 2 mini pumpkins. Emma held her mini pumpkins the entire way home.
All through dinner she bugged and bugged and bugged me to decorate the pumpkins as I told her unfortunately they were too small to carve. So after dinner I obliged, she said she wanted to draw on them with markers and put Elsa sparkle stickers on them. (FYI they are Elsa stickers cause they are blue and white).
We quckly went to work on our pumpkins. They turned out really cute and considering it was a 3 year old that organized and decided on everything for this craft I was really impressed. It taught me the following: a) Emma knows what she wants b) Shes super crafty and c) Sometimes we need to let them lead the craft time.
